Our Trip to Mt Pukaha

Term 2 2010

We have been writing about Jack and the Beanstalk. We have been growing our own beans to see if they really are magic and we made bean booklets on the different stages of a bean. On Monday our Intermediate Buddy class helped us create the characters from the Big Book. We then came up with adjectives which are interesting describing words for each of the characters. We are able to sequence events from the story in a storyboard. We had a lot of fun!

Welcome to Mrs Clark's literacy class

We have a wonderful class of 15 boys and 9 girls and we really are using different thinking tools! Congratulations to everyone for moving up reading levels. Most people went up at least 2 reading levels!
